Spc-it! is a small SPC (Statistical Process Control) program that graphs a feature as you run the lot in real time. All calculations are updated as you enter more data onto the graph. You can click on a point marker to get the entered value, pan and zoom the graph. You can also set the spec limits and control limits of the graph and once set you will be warned if the entered value exceeds the control or spec limit. If you have a first run of a part you can select the Automatic min/max setting so that no control or spec limits are applied. Once the data has been colected you can print it, Create a bitmap of the graph, or export the data to a spreadsheet for further processing or storage. The graph can be reset at any time and you can open as many instances of Spc-it! as you would like to track several features of a specific part or different parts. One of the best features of Spc-it! is that the setup and training time is almost non-existant. Simply open the program, set the spec and control limits and you can start entering data. Other Spc programs require extensive setup processes which can take hours to complete before even the first data point is entered and training can take days for shop floor personnel. Spc-it! is designed as a small and flexible system which can easily adapt to your shop environment. You can use digital Calipers or Gauges to enter data or simply type in the values and hit the [Enter] key or the Graph Data button. You can import and export text files which allows you to save your current dataset and continue to add data at a later time. You can print the graph and it's calculated and header data as well. Program includes a new Histogram view.
